As we enter Black History Month, we’d like to take a moment to acknowledge the lack of diversity in mainstream storytelling and the systemic racism that prevents Black people from having an equal space to tell their stories and share their experiences.
We know this is something that has to be acknowledged and addressed every day, not only during Black History Month; and it can’t be just stated, it must translate into real action in order for real change to occur. Luminous Blue is committed to elevating Black voices and their experiences through our stories.
